The Shefa Center

The Shefa School is a Jewish community day school in Manhattan serving students in grades 1–8 who benefit from a specialized educational environment to develop their strengths while addressing their learning challenges. The Shefa Center, a division of The Shefa School, partners with educators and leaders in Jewish day schools to expand their capacity to educate diverse learners. The Shefa Center provides professional development, consultation, partnership, and training across a range of topics, customized for individual educators or whole schools. The Shefa School’s mission is to build upon each child’s strengths while teaching the skills to overcome their challenges in a caring and supportive community.
